Lord, when someone decides to tell something about me that isn’t true, it is distressing. All I can really do is call out to you and ask you to deliver me from a painful situation like this. Even efforts to find peaceful paths forward are often rejected when someone has made up their mind. This is not what I wanted to experience, and I need you to walk with me through this situation. - Amen
Think of someone who has spoken an untruth about you and pray for God to forgive them and give you the ability to truly forgive them.

The trouble with false accusations is that, even if the truth comes out, even if a retraction is made public, there are some who will not believe the retraction, but the lie. So…I need to always speak the truth about others, to be forgiving when others hurt me with their words and to cling tight to my Saviour, who suffered all for me.
